Cameroon

Health[e]Foundation has been active in Cameroon since 2008, and as of June 2010 has trained over 140 healthcare workers in the region.

Health[e]Foundation began its first training in Banga, Cameroon in collaboration with the Give Milk Stop Aids Foundation. Thanks to one of our former Banga participants, Dr. Tabi, Health[e]Foundation began another HIV Education training in Kumba in September 2009 and had a successful closing workshop in January 2010.  The expansion of our training programs to Yaoundé has been successful through the hard work of our Regional Representative in Cameroon, Dr. Roselyn Toby, who has organized both the 2010 and 2011 trainings.

We greatly appreciate the financial support of the Cameroon MTN Foundation, who has made our latest HIV trainings in Yaoundé possible.
