Manado, Indonesia
Immediately following the Jakarta workshop in November 2009, Health[e]Foundation went directly to its first kickoff training in Manado, Indonesia. Dr. Agung, who selected the participants for the training, served as a
coach during the self-study period. 63 participants attended the follow
up workshop in March 2010, which included interactive discussions and
clinical cases as well as group exercises led by Dr. Reshmie
Ramautarsing from Bangkok.
The second training in Manado began in October 2010 and concluded in March. During this very same visit to Manado, HeF and Neba made rrangements start a third group of 99 participants. We are grateful for the fantastic collaboration with Jaco van As and Vie Damayanti from the Nederlands-Batam Foundation and the outstanding work of the organizing committee.
