Course details / Psychosocial Refugee Care[e]Education

About this course

The Psychosocial Refugee Care[e]Education module was developed in 2016 in response to the devastating situation in Syria, which caused many people to flee their country in search of safer places. Health facilities are under strain in many EU countries where Syrian refugees arrive. Global health education is needed for these regions, with a particular focus on the health risks that affect immigrants. The aim of this course is to inform you about the mental health and psychosocial wellbeing of Syrians affected by armed conflict and displacement, both within Syria and in countries hosting refugees from Syria.
