The focus of the Health[e]Living program is on life skills and sexual and reproductive health and rights education for young people with an interactive and learner-centered approach. With life skills education young people are encouraged to learn how to apply new knowledge into practice, discover and cultivate their unique skills and are enabled to shape their own future. They learn to make informed decisions, are better prepared for adaptive and positive behavior that enables them to deal effectively with the demands and challenges of everyday life. This, in turn, benefits their families, communities and society as a whole, a start to a compassionate and just society.

The Health[e]Living program is meant for community workers and educators working with young people of 12 years and older. They are empowered with knowledge and facilitating skills to deliver information, life skills and sexual and reproductive health and rights education to young people.

Key topics

The 10 modules of the Health[e]Living course are a combination of information, interactive activities, short movies, quizzes, videos, animations and educational games about various topics related to life skills, sexual and reproductive health and rights, prevention of HIV, addictions, substance abuse and gender.
