About courses and registration

If you want to follow one of our courses online, you can register for a free course or register for a premium course. There is a learning management system in place to monitor your progress. Before you start a module, you will do a pre-test. You can only complete this pre-test once. This result gives us an idea of your base level of understanding of the study topic. After you have worked through the module, you will do a post-test. You can take the post-test as many times as you wish. However, we will only take into account the highest score that you obtain in the post-test. During blended-learning courses that include face-to-face workshops as well as online self-learning, clinical cases and verified scales such as the Aids Attitude Scale, we gather further information about your progress. As with any electronic device, your USB stick may stop working, get infected by a virus/malware, be lost or break. Please consult this page to get instructions on how to download a fresh copy of the training program you are following, or how to copy the course content to another functional USB stick. You can ask the Project Manager or the local contact person(s) responsible for your course for help. If you do not know who your contact person is, you can submit a tutor question through the eLearning platform, or send us an email via

No problem! You become a member of the Health[e]Foundation family for life by joining one of our courses. Your account details are yours for the rest of your life. If you lose your username or password, you can recover the information here by providing us with the email address that you used when you signed up.

If you are a participant and would like to do the course on your tablet or smartphone, you can download our mobile application. Please check the steps and requirements carefully on this link.

We have a learning management system in place. Pass rates for most courses are 60% or higher on all post-tests. However, this may be different for some countries or courses. For instance, in Ethiopia the minimum post-score is 70% for the Female&Family[e]Education course.
