News / Impact Matters and Microsoft!
In November we reported on the kick-start of a new initiative together with Impact Matters and Microsoft. Impact Matters is a foundation that matches idealistic organizations with corporate businesses who have expertise in fields like marketing, communication and human resource.
Following the success of this first initiative, we posted a new matching request asking for support in the interpretation and analysis of data we collect via our website, our trainees and our workshops to maximize the impact and efficiency of our work.
Using Google Analytics we have basic statistics on the use of our recently revised website and our online courses, but we feel there is more to learn from new and existing user characteristics and data to boost our marketing strategy and outreach.
Smart data analysis can provide us with more detailed insight in e-learning behavior and website use, stimulate individuals to use the e-learning environment via the website, stimulate existing trainees for refresher training and new courses and promote the e-learning app as reference tool.
Ruben Pool, Annemarie Thijs and Stephanie Visser, all three of them Microsoft data experts, have volunteered to work with us and the first explorative meeting took place on 10th December. We are eager to learn from them and use their know-how to maximize the uptake of our e-courses for as many healthcare and community workers as possible to prevent disease and promote global health, because impact matters!
